Kewarra Beach Wedding Photography / Jasmin + Yves' Elopement
Jasmin and Yves came from the country of delicious chocolate, waffles and pastries…… Belgium. Being the adventurers they are, they decided to elope to Kewarra Beach Resort in tropical North Queensland, Australia. It is a long way from home for them, especially as Jasmin was 4 months pregnant with a sweet baby girl at the time.
Jasmin and Yves wanted to have one last amazing overseas holiday before their bub was born…..and what a special and memorable way to declare their life commitment to one another…..on a beautiful beach in tropical North Queensland, Australia.
Kewarra Beach Resort is 20 minutes drive north from Cairns CBD. It is nestled amongst the Cairns Northern Beaches, between Palm Cove and Trinity Beach. It is a beautiful and quiet location to have an intimate elopement. The grounds of Kewarra Beach Resort offer many amzing opportunities for wedding photographs and there is no need to travel away from the site to be able to have images with rainforest, beach and sunlight.
It was a total pleasure meeting these two and half very special people and being invited to capture such an intimate occasion in photographs. From the moment I met them until I left, they were beaming with huge smiles and love. There seems to be no end of fun and playfulness with these two. Their little bubba is going to have such a fun and happy life, embraced with love.
I hope Jasmin + Yves enjoy sharing the photographic memory of their elopement with friends and family back home.
Eve Prince carried out a very meaningful ceremony for Jasmin and Yves. Amongst the 5 of us that were present (including Jasmin and Yves)…..I think we each had a sneaky little tear at some stage throughout the ceremony. Eve can be contacted through her website:

Jasmin and Yves’ elopement was my last marriage to photograph for 2016 and it was wonderful. What a great way to finish. I just want to squeeze these two and half with a big hug as I upload this blog.
