Lisa + Damien left behind the winter of Woolongong to come up to tropical Palm Cove, North Queensland for a destination wedding with their close family and friends. Palm Cove is just 20 minutes from Cairns and enjoys warm weather all year round.
Lisa was an extremely happy bride and had the most amazing smile on her face the entire day. Damien too had a grin ear to ear. Together they have a very playful and joyous connection which is quite infectious to be around. I was smiling ear to ear with how easy it was to capture these two playing and enjoying each other's company. It was easy to capture happy and natural photos as they were both so genuinely excited and happy that they had found each other and were celebrating their special wedding day.
Aphrodite performed a very apt ceremony for a chilled destination wedding. It was relaxed but respectful of the preciousness of the day.
Everyone was in holiday mode, relaxed and sincerely happy for Lisa and Damien. It was a super chilled afternoon for their wedding and there was a real sense of family. Lisa + Damien have 5 beautiful children and many of their guests also brought their children. Their reception felt like an extended homely dinner party. Set in the beautiful Alamanda Resort, surrounded by fairy lights and candles, the ambiance was warm and enchanting.
I wish this very lovely couple many happy and healthy years together.
