Lake Tinaroo Wedding Photography / Megan + Jack's Wedding
(Photographers Tam + Christine)
Megan and Jack met at university. Jack was studying agricultural science and Megan occupational therapy. This pair of cuties remind me of that happy, gorgeous couple I love to watch in romantic comedy movies. They have a wonderful balance of sincerity, kindness, fun and playfulness in their relationship. It was so wonderful and an honour to be their chosen wedding photographer. I know how much they value photographs and appreciate the art, as Jack’s Dad is also a very passionate photographer.
Megan’s radiating smile meant we went a bit crazy clicking our camera shutter buttons. There were so many beautiful sincere smiles, we didn’t want to miss capturing them.
There was so much about Megan + Jack's wedding that was special. The location for the ceremony was meaningful, being on Jack's parents' neighbours property, down by Lake Tinaroo. This was the same location Jack proposed to Megan in years earlier. There was so much heart put into the day right down to a home brewed beer (especially for the occasion) complete with custom made labels playing tribute to Jack's dog, Jubba.
Having grown up in a country area myself, 3 hours west of Toowoomba, I love a good old fashioned country hall and could think of no finer place to have a wedding. Yungaburra Hall is absolutely delightful and Megan + Jack, with the help from their family, decorated the old girl up to a ‘fairy light wonderland’. The ambiance was magical and once again like you would see in a classic RomCom.
Megan + Jack it was totally dreamy meeting you both, your warm and friendly family and friends and having the honour to document such an important milestone in your lives.
I wish you both many happy and healthy years together.
